Grandparent's Day

Did you even know Grandparent's Day existed? This kids celebrated it at school and Grandparents were invited to have lunch with them. Grandie and Papa, Grandma and Grandpa Gibbons, and Mama and Papa, you are all amazing and wonderful to our kids. They never doubt how much they are loved by each of you. Happy Grandparent's Day!

That's so fun. What a treasured memory for all involved. It's so sad to have the boys in middle school...it's no longer cool to have someone come eat with you.

That's funny! Ashley first wasn't sure if it was going to be cool in 6th grade, but decided she did want to.

How wonderful!! I love it!! Good for them! Man we miss ya'll...but who knows, we might end up closer! 'Course, we'd have to hear from them first and then second, it would probably change again...Army SUCKS!

First Day of School

First Day of School
Adam says I'm such a girl. Man was this a hard day sending our youngest off to kindergarten. I did wear sunglasses on purpose! Ashley is in 6th grade this year! It feels like just yesterday that was me! Jayda is in the 4th grade. It was a great morning, everyone woke up on time and happy! We'll see how long that lasts. Moms....you know what I mean! The girls are overly excited and Jayda keeps tickling Garrett and saying, "Are you soooo excited?"!!! and today Garrett had enough and yelled back "stop saying that to me!!!" I think it was creating more anxiety for him. I'm so anxious to hear how their first day went!
